Reblog Wednesday: 8 Blogging Mistakes that Waste Your Readers’ Time — Cristian Mihai

As a first time blogger, I’m always looking for advice, ideas and tips that will help me improve my blog and my writing. I appreciate constructive criticism, the type that will help you grow and improve. I share this post today, that did that for me. I often want to know what I’m doing right, but it’s also good to know what I’m doing wrong. What can I change about my blog, is there anything to change, can I add something, can I remove something and replace it with something greater – those are thoughts that run through my mind.

Here the blogger Cristian Mihai – great by the way, helps you by listing ‘8 blogging mistakes’ you could be making right now. The mistakes that can be jeopardizing your blog and can be a determining factor as to the growth of your blog. Also, as to whether or not you’re wasting your readers time. Not that your blog isn’t interesting, but there’s always room for improvement.

What improvements – if any, have you made, big or small, on your blog since you first started blogging?

Happy Wednesday.

    1. Yes, unfortunately I’m too busy for lengthy posts. I wish that wasn’t the case, but it’s true. Keeping it ‘short and sweet’ as they say, or to the point, keeps the reader engaged and motivated to finish reading the post. So glad you enjoyed that! 😊🙏🏽

  1. Can’t say that I can think of any improvements… chiari isn’t something you’d like to talk about all the time. And you seem to break up the material pretty well… I say keep doing what you’re doing..

    1. Thank you for that! I appreciate your comment. It’s good to see things from the an outside perspective. I also think, speaking too much on Chiari brings me down a bit – my fault! So, doing things to make me feel more ‘normal’ is a good distraction for me. 😊🙏🏽

      1. You are ‘normal’ Ana. I have issues that make me feel like I’m completely different. But honestly, somewhere and somehow I’m normal… lol.

      2. Lol! You are. There is no such thing as being normal. We’re all different, living with unique circumstances. As I tell my kids, how boring would this world be if we were all the same?! Society has a huge roll in making us think we need to be, look and feel a certain way. Not to mention our kids – it’s all a lie!
There’s no one way we should be, we’re blessed to be who we are because we were created by our Father. He made us this way, it doesn’t get better than that! 😊🙏🏽 Always appreciate your feedback, it’s thought provoking.

      3. You’re the only person I know with chiari. I had never heard of it before until I met you on here. But, this particular issue has made you a certain way and because of that makes me really enjoy talk to you. I know you have your down days and a lot that you keep to yourself. But, I get realism and from you and you’re actually fun to talk to which makes your posts interesting. So, it kind of balances out.

      4. Thank you! Our circumstances give us a good balance. It also depends on how you approve it though, because it can make you bitter if you let it. And I think because of what we’re going through – in life, it makes us more sympathetic to others, more human. That and a ‘no holds bard’ kind of attitude – in a good way of course! 😏 You know, at this point in my life, with all that’s has gone on, surgeries and such, there’s no time for the run around, it’s best to keep it honest.
The ‘you’re actually fun to talk to’ gave me a laugh. Thank you! No, I won’t take it the wrong way! Really I won’t. I’m ok. 😂

      5. 😊 Hope you’re having a good day! As for me, I had an appt with my neurologist today, he took a look at an MRI I had done for him – wasn’t good enough, is having me go do another MRI and then come back to see him. And we’re going to try a new medication for pain relief – but told me look out for side effects. 😳🤨 Haha! Sida-Who?! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Have I mentioned before that I feel like a walking mini pharmacy?!
