This times of year is such a joyous season. There is so much to be grateful – even for the most smallest of things. I’m grateful that the Lord has continued to provide a roof over my families head and has maintained my marriage in tact. However, I am also aware that some of us have a difficult time with this season, maybe you experienced a loss of any kind, a loved one, a job, a breakup, etc. or have special circumstances for this time of year. You may have to work Christmas eve or day or have children that must share homes. So, as some of us experience such a joyous season, some experience a very lonely one.

This post reminded me of those different things people still must go through. It also helped me remember to be present in my life and know that regardless of what I may think, I have truly received in abundance.
