Happy Meme Monday: Trying To Be Social

If there’s one word that would describe me so well, it would be, introvert. Please send me a text message, shoot me an e-mail, send me a message in a bottle, telegram, you name it, that’ll work just fine for me! But, face to face – heck even phone, conversation eh, may not go so well.

What is it you ask? Beats me! I just like comfort, I like my space and something about having a conversation and being social just yanks me out of my comfort zone and I am lost! Was it after having kids? Maybe. I mean I can talk your ear off about the last Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode I just watched, anything else, ya’ got me!

Because as they say, ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ – hope you had an amazing Monday. And if you’re not an introvert, you’re amazing!

  1. Extroverts like myself have struggles too. I talk to anyone and sometimes find myself in awkward situations because of it. Weird looks from strangers in stores, in lines and at the gas pumps. Those who have gone out of their way to put on a “don’t talk to me” facade, look at me like I’ve lost my mind when I try speaking to them. Which leaves me feeling foolish.
Another thing about us extroverts is some of us were born with our foot in our huge mouths! Lol…

    1. 😂 that’s amazing! I don’t why I lead a, ‘don’t speak until your spoken to’ kind of life with others outside my home. I did work in the legal field for many years and still find a deep fascination for it. Maybe it comes from working there. 🤷🏻‍♀️😊
You’re the life of the party Amy, I love that! And don’t feel foolish, you’re amazing!

  2. It takes all kinds in this world. There is a place for both introverts and extroverts. The sad part is the world wants people to think there’s something wrong with us introverts. I’ve discovered that God loves both groups and used/uses both personalities for His purpose. He made us all in “His” Image, afterall. 🙂 Just keep being lovely you! 🙂🤗

    1. Yes! Amen, I agree. We’re perfect in His and should seek one else’s love but His.
Also, maybe it has to do will all of the health issues I have, being a mom, etcetera, but at the end, a face to face conversation seems more daunting than appealing.
I’m so glad there are also extroverts! They take on what I can’t. 😂😊
      Thank you Renee! 🙏🏽
